Trivex Progressive Lenses Trivex Single Vision Trivex Bifocals
Progressive Lenses have no visible lines and provide a smooth gradual progression of power from distance vision on top through intermediate vision to near vision on bottom. Progressives have multiple focal areas unlike lined bifocals or trifocals which have only two or three.
Single Vision Lenses are prescribed if you need correction for one field of vision, either for distance only, intermediate only (computer), or reading only (near vision). Eyeglass Lens Direct offers a number of options for the single vision lens wearer.
Bifocal Lenses contain two different prescriptions in the same lens. The primary purpose of bifocal glasses is to provide an optimal balance between the top area of the lens and the lower segment area of the lens. Bifocal lenses are available in a variety of segment shapes and widths. The most popular bifocal segment style is the Flat-Top 28 also known as straight-top or D-segment.
Trivex Computer Lenses Trivex Trifocals
No-Line Computer Lenses are an occupational progressive lens, a no-line multifocal that corrects near, intermediate and, to a degree, distance vision. It has a larger intermediate zone than regular progressive lenses, leaving less space for distance. Computer eyeglass lenses are generally not suitable for driving or regular wear.
Trifocal Lenses contain three focal points, usually for distance, intermediate and near vision. A trifocal lens has an added segment above the bifocal for viewing objects in the intermediate zone, which is approximately arm's length away. Trifocal lenses are available in a variety of segment shapes and widths. The most popular trifocal segment style is the Flat-Top 7 by 28 also known as straight-top or D-segment.
Trivex Lenses have superior optics, xtra impact resistant and ultra light weight.
